You are cordially invited to join or renew your membership in the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Founded in 1982, the Women's Council's primary objective is the funding, beautification, and endowment of A Woman's Garden, one of the principal gardens in the Arboretum and the only public garden in the country conceived by women, funded by the efforts of women and dedicated to the indomitable spirit of women. We are most grateful for your support as we enter our 40th Anniversary year. We are looking forward to a fabulous celebratory year with our theme, "Growing Friendships for 40 Years."
Your board is hard at work planning many exciting commemorative events and activities for our membership. Our calendar for 2022-2023 includes many events such as the New Member Welcome Party on September 20, 2022; three educational meetings a year; two Fall and two Spring trips; two opportunities to plant in the garden; a number of small group social activities as well as our 40th Anniversary celebration and fundraising events: The Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Gala on October 21, 2022; A Writer's Garden Luncheon on October 18, 2022; and the Mad Hatter's Tea on April 20, 2023. We are truly fortunate to have such a "crown jewel" of a garden here in Dallas. Membership and participation in the Women's Council is a great way to support the garden and develop a more intimate involvement with the Arboretum.
