Fun was had by all on our Fall Trip to McKinney. Our first two stops were in Dallas where we visited two gardens -The Hobsons and the Carrekers. Then off to McKinney to start with lunch at the Harvest Seasonal Kitchen. We had the restaurant all to ourselves, and the food was amazing. Shopping the Square came next – we even had a list of stores to visit. Many of us stopped at Sharla’s of course. Sharla was kind enough to give us shopping bags for the day and champagne for sipping while we shopped in her store. On the way home, we stopped at Bay Willow Design where Jenny gave us a great overview on how she designs and makes her hats. With our day trip almost over, we hopped back on the bus one more time and headed home snacking with wine and peanuts. What an enjoyable day we had!
